I made the NPR Music office a blueberry icebox pie (recipe — I subbed with a 50/50 pretzel/graham cracker crust) because it’s summer, it’s ridiculously hot outside and apparently it’s pie week on Morning Edition next week. And because I can’t cook without a good soundtrack, the woozy, yet bubbly Black Mill Tapes 1 & 2 by Pye Corner Audio (Pye? Get it?) almost sounded like the blueberries dropping into my saucepan.
